I love your writing style.

I don't train parkour, nor do I know anything about it really, but I find myself compelled to read your writing. It is lucid and contemplative and flowing all at once.

I'm gonna subscribe to your blog from now on. and I'm gonna tell my friend about you. I think he'll like your writing too.Noah Ortizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07777491005894949753noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7276445672326268310.post-38983401322343058332009-03-07T10:24:00.000-08:002009-03-07T10:24:00.000-08:00haven't read the entire post yet, but im feeling t...haven't read the entire post yet, but im feeling the part about not comparing selves to others and being on ones own way.

Good to see your still doing well and pushing,

all the best mate,Julianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17880523405328527064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7276445672326268310.post-51724028995588534812008-10-15T14:22:00.000-07:002008-10-15T14:22:00.000-07:00Thanks for a great post. Also good writing about training alone, bikeing and comparing yourself to other people. Your videos are a great inspiration for me. I hope to train with you some time. /swedish traceurOliverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15583678059884815694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7276445672326268310.post-75882461757338612902008-10-11T16:10:00.000-07:002008-10-11T16:10:00.000-07:00Hey Eliot, thanks for the mention brother! It was, well surreal reading this post as it were as if coming from my own mouth, completely.

This year started getting on my bike more, I've said to many people abut readiness for movement and 100% with you that just because we can, doesn't mean we are ready, both mentalliy and physcially. The closest thing you mentioned to me was the changing of you views of parkour and what it is you do, I too have had this much this year; making many changes, in both lifestyle and moving. Over the pat few months I;ve been in America working in a circus dept at a summer camp, teaching Young people things and also, obviously giving me a real chance to work on more aestheic movement, and acro, (you would have loved the place mate) http://www.new.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=1238626&l=5e76e&id=515992609

Either way it was a chance for me to learn new movements, regular parkour training was put to around an hour a day from the 2nd half of camp and cmoing back (i've been back for coming up to 3 weeks) has been very hard, my job is different, and this week been in a real question about my training asking many questions. I;m starting a detox of life if you will; working on diet, and sleep predominantly and on the movement side, more running and working on working the weak areas such as forearms with climbing (theres a wall thats been built locally) and adaptation to present situations, I'll be swimming in the "sea" over the winter to test and grow from.

Either way just wanted to say I'm definatly with you on the thought's and would love to hear from yuo through email in the coming weeks, comparing and sicussing where we are.

Be safe and talk soon, my blogs needing an update soon so, keep posted.

Take care, Brad.Something from Nothinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08288752596332261120noreply@blogger.com
